In the photo above the Lummi Island Ferry has just left the terminal at Gooseberry Point (right) en route to Lummi Island (left).
It is a short ride of about 10 minutes. Gooseberry Point is on the Lummi Indian Reservation near Bellingham, WA. Anne and
I spent the winter house-sitting near the ferry terminal. After the leaves fell off the trees last fall and the view opened up, we
could see the ferry making its run. This photo is five separate photos stitched together in Photoshop.
